    Such a camera combination provides the operator with all the vital visual information necessary for the supervision of both the feed system and animal welfare.

    Before the system is installed on-site, it is thoroughly bench tested. We can arrange both installation and operator training.

    Our first complete OceanCamera system was delivered over 15 years ago. With the much-valued collaboration of our customers, we have continually worked to improve and develop the technology.

    Our latest related innovation is the OceanCamera cable, now upgraded by a tough PU (Polyurethane) jacket with internal Kevlar reinforcement.

    The use of the camera allows the operator to take direct control of a feed line’s delivery to a cage. Under observation, the camera can see if pellets descend below the main body of the fish.

    This is a clear indication that the appetite is satisfied. As a consequence, both feed wastage and seabed pollution can be minimized, and production efficiency optimized.

    Users of the OceanCamera system can expect optimal feed conversion ratios. Normally, three cameras are deployed for each cage: one above the cage guard rail, monitoring spreader function, feed loss due to wind and the above surface general situation.

    Two subsurface cameras: one looking upwards monitoring pellet descent and the second used both for feed response as well as the situation in the ‘mort sock’.
