Filtration applications are typically defined by the performance characteristics of the filter cartridge being used, however selecting the right filter housing can optimize and enhance the results achieved from different cartridges. Several factors are important to consider when selecting housings such as system operating pressure, flow rate and pipework requirements, application temperature, chemical compatibility and the housing location/environment.
Manufactured from polycoated 316L stainless steel, the Standard range of multi-round filter housings uses an industry standard V-band clamp to secure the head. The housings have threaded ports and they come supplied complete with a universal cartridge plate.
The Standard range is capable of operating up to 700lpm, with flow rates beyond this capacity requiring the Premier range. From the 7 x 40″ housing down to the 3 x 10″, these smaller vessels do not require the additional heavy duty features of the Premier range, such as Davit assemblies and swing-bolt lids. With gauge ports, drain ports and a universal cartridge adaptor to accept AA, DOE and 222 end capped cartridges, this range offers a competitive solution for smaller flow rate applications.
